Self Retracting Lifelines (SRL's) with internal energy absorbtion system are CE marked and conform to the standard EN360.

SRL's extend and retract automatically, allowing the user to move and work within a recommended working area, at peak efficiency and comfortably at normal speeds.

	'UltraLok' Lightweight Self Retracting Lifeline (SRL) Offers maximum comfort and minimal weight, thanks to its Glass filled polyurethane, housing (6m, 9M, 15m models, 26 model uses an aluminium housing). All models use corrosion resistant stainless steeel working components. Available in 4 lengths 6m, 9m, 15m and 26m, using 5mm diameter either galvanised cable or stainless steel cable. The end of the cable is equipped with a stainless steel cable. The end of the cable is equipped with a double action snap hook for attachment to a harnesses fall arrest point. This double action snap hook has a built in swivel and fall arrester indicator. The reserve lifeline system built into this SRL insures even at the end of the cables travel, should the user fall the devices energy absorbion system functions correctly. For added security Sala have added to the UltraLok an anti-ratcheting twin-disc brake system, with an audible indication that the device is functioning correctly. The anti-ratcheting means once the devices pawls have engage on to the break, a certain amount of lifeline must be retracted into the device, beforethe paws can be disengaged. 	SALA DBUMatic 15 metre Self Retracting Lifeline with Integrated Descender 3303050 A unique product combining the comfort of a Self Retracting Lifeline Block and the evacuation ease of a descender functions like a SRL Unlike descenders or evacuation devices, the tension of the retraction spring is that of a normal fall arrest block relight. This allows the user to easily work unhindered; the cable accompanies his movements whilst maintaining a slight tension. In the event of a fall, the descender function is automatically triggered after just a few centimetres of descent. The device then functions as a powerful restraint force, like an automatic descender or an evacuation tool. The person connected is then lowered automatically at a constant speed (from 1.5 to 2m/s) to the ground. With evacuation being automatic, there is no need for additional means of evacuation to retrieve the person who has suffered a fall.
